Our techniques for treating babies are vastly modified from the traditional manipulations associated with adult treatments. Clearly, they are much more gentle, but no less necessary.

Even as young as the first weeks of life a newborn should be brought in for a check-up to ensure that there are no problems subsequent to delivery. SOT craniopaths are extremely capable of subtle analysis of the babies’ cranium to determine whether or not the delicate plates of the head have been compressed or distorted (plagiocephaly) during the birth process. It is such babies as these that can later develop digestive problems, visual problems and delayed development, all of which is preventable. Also the pelvis and spine would be examined to ensure that all are correctly aligned and fully moving as well as organ function assessment.

It can be very unnerving for the mother of a newborn to hand over their baby for treatment and we understand this and will do all we can to reassure you. Also your child may thank you for it one day!
