Sports Chiropractic and the London 2012 Olympics
In the run up to the London 2012 Olympic Games the worlds eyes are focused on our international athletes. Here at Ruislip Chiropractic Clinic we have a particular interest as one of our patients, Laura Turner prepares her bid for qualification in the 100m sprint. Having participated at the Beijing Olympics four years ago we have high hopes of her succeeding. Laura recently ran a time of 11.27 whilst at warm weather training camp in Arizona. An olympic 'A' standard time which now needs to be replicated at the UK trails in Birmingham. Under the coaching and guidance of Linford Christie at Brunel University we can be sure that her preparations have been exhaustive.
Another of our elite athletes, Kevin Sempers (see 'Watch ourTestimonials' on the homepage) is a multi-eventer who competes in the Decathlon. Kev came a creditable sixth place a the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, and has been a long-standing patient at this practice. We wish him all the best with his bid for Olympic qualification. Even if not selected on this occasion we feel sure that his continuing physical development will see him, ultimately become a front runner in the decathlon. Both of our athletes have continued to benefit from chiropractic treatment of sports related conditions that has enabled them to perform at peak level.
Ruislip Chiropractic Clinic wishes all of Team GB athletes the very bet of luck in the future.
